Terre des Hommes Netherlands and the Children of India Foundation India manage the funds. These organisations will ensure that all donations are directed to the Veggie4School program, supporting public schools in Bengaluru.
What is Veggie4School?
Veggie4School is a program that teaches children in public schools in Bengaluru about eco-friendly gardening and sustainable practices. Through hands-on workshops, students learn to grow their food while embracing environmental responsibility.
How will my donation be used?
Your donation will directly fund the following:
- Thali-GrowPots Toolkits: Students will receive kits to learn sustainable gardening.
- Educational Materials: Guides, booklets, and resources that support student learning.
- Teacher Payments: Compensating teachers who lead the program.
- Workshop Resources: Providing schools with seeds, soil, and tools for hands-on activities.
- Banners: Promoting program awareness and community engagement.
- Workshops and Certifications: Offering a 5-week program culminates in a Veggie4School certificate.
