Our Story
Breaking the Chains of Exploitation
Miss-Collect was founded to combat child exploitation in the paper recycling industry, where families are trapped in poor conditions and cycles of bonded labour. We partner with corporations to promote fair trade, ethical recycling, and sustainable value chains, encouraging them to take responsibility for how and where their waste is handled. Doing so, they help ensure fair labour practices and contribute to a more equitable system.
Today, Miss-Collect supports 471 at-risk children through Early Learning, Bridge Courses, and Tuition Programs.
Our Veggie4School program reaches 1,766 children across 33 classrooms in Bengaluru, where it teaches waste management, nutrition, and gardening. This initiative imparts essential life skills and fosters a deep appreciation for the environment.
We are proud to say that these programs are not just about education but about empowerment, providing these children with the tools and opportunities they need to shape their futures.

We push corporations to ensure ethical supply chains, driving meaningful change toward a fairer, more sustainable future.
