HEADMASTER’S REFLECTION:

At GHPS Railway Colony, students became Waste Detectives, Compost Creators, and Garden Heroes. Under their Guru’s guidance and the headmaster’s support, they went from curious learners to future leaders. Today, the headmaster reflects on this five-week transformative journey.

CHAPTER 1: GROW YOUR WAY TO A GREENER FUTUREΒ 
The Sorting Race was my favorite! It was fun and competitive, and I learned how to sort waste properly. We also made pots from old newspapers, and I took one home to show my family.
Feedback:

Composting was a new concept for us. I learned about layering greens and browns to create fertile soil, so my mom and I decided to start a compost bin at home.

CHAPTER 3: UNVEILING THE MYSTERIES OF SEED GROWTHΒ 
I was amazed at how tiny seeds grow into big plants. My seed sprouted on Day 4, and I named it ‘Tiny Miracle.’ Watching it grow every day was magical.

CHAPTER 4: THE GREAT PLANTING FESTΒ 
We worked together to create a school garden. I learned how to make trellises and plant spinach in our plot. It felt like we were building something meaningful.

CLOSING THOUGHTSΒ 

Students grew into future leaders, gaining skills in sustainability, teamwork, and healthy living. Their journey is a testament to the power of hands-on learning and community impact.
